Direct Cremation options

We were the first Funeral Directors to offer this Service over six years ago, the one facet we have noticed is that when someone has left  specific instructions for no fuss and no Service, surviving Family members sometimes feel this particular choice is quite harsh (after all this Service is fairly new to our Society) and in some ways it denies them the chance to grieve properly. Whilst the wishes of the Deceased must always be respected, our Direct Cremation II goes someway to softening the harshness and gives Family members a chance to witness their loved one being carried into a Crematorium local to the Family and maybe hear readings and select music without going against the wishes of the Deceased.

Personal Service is guaranteed the cremation takes place in a local geographical area and ashes are returned in a timely manner by ourselves. 

Direct Cremation I (your loved one will not be transported hundreds and hundreds of miles to an unknown time and place of cremation)

Transfer of the Deceased into our care. (from Home, Hospital or a Nursing Home)

All Doctors fees and cremation fees.

A dignified environmentally friendly coffin complete with nameplate and all fixtures and fittings.

Preparation of all necessary Documentation.

Care of the Deceased until the time of the Cremation.

Transfer of the Deceased in a suitable private ambulance or estate car to a local Crematorium of our choice for an unattended Service. (The Family will be informed of the exact time and location of the cremation)

Ashes are personally returned by ourselves.

Direct Cremation II

Transfer of the Deceased into our care (from Home Hospital or Nursing Home)

All Cremation and Doctors fees.

A dignified coffin complete with nameplate and all fixtures and fittings.

Preparation of all necessary Documentation.

Care of the Deceased until the time of the Cremation.

Transfer of the Deceased to the Crematorium of your choice in a dignified private ambulance, estate car or hearse.

Family attendance, music choices Eulogy readings carried out by a staff member fully trained in public speaking.

Returning of ashes (if requested)
